The Tulloch story began in 1895 when John Younie Tulloch accepted an unusual settlement of a debt, a 43 acre property at Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley. Tulloch took an immediate liking to the property and the five acres of neglected vines it contained. He set about rejuvenating the vineyards and so began the proud family tradition that continues today.

Since then Tulloch have been crafting wines & experiences that reach beyond the bottle, creating better lives with wine, food, family & friends.

Our wines are made in the Hunter Valley by Jay Tulloch. Jay (JYT) has over 50 vintages under his belt in the Hunter Valley. Jay works with our contract facility for all aspects of wine production. Jay Tulloch has continued his families’ proud tradition of viticulture and has contributed enormously to the shaping of the Hunter region along the way. He was inducted as a Hunter Valley Living Legend in 2009.
