Bimbadgen

Bimbadgen’s unique name stems from the local indigenous language meaning ‘Place of Good View’. It’s not hard to see why with the winery situated in a commanding position with magnificent views across our vineyards and out to the Barrington ranges. Bimbadgen is made up of two old-vine sites, Palmers Lane Vineyard which was planted in 1968 and was the original Bimbadgen vineyard, and the McDonalds Road Vineyard shortly thereafter which is now the ‘home vineyard’ for the established brand. Both sites provide highly sought-after source of old vine Semillon, Shiraz and Chardonnay. The wines can be sampled in the estate’s contemporary Cellar Door tasting rooms, and a visit to the winery wouldn’t be complete without enjoying lunch in multi-award winning restaurant Esca Bimbadgen – where food and wine are blissfully intertwined.
